Update on Judy Evans, she is doing well. They moved her out of the hospital into a nursing facility to continue with therapy. She is walking with a walker and speaking is getting stronger, it is just a slow process and will take time. We spoke with her on the telephone and it was so good to hear her voice. They ask for us to keep praying for continued progress and of course we are thankful to God for his healing. Ken & JoAnn

Hello there, we heard from Jimmy Evans last night. His report was good, Judy is progressing well, a lot of her recuperation is just time. They had planned to move her from the hospital into a nursing facility as they thought she needed more therapy before going home. She developed an infection and needed more antibiotics so that set her back a little bit. Therefore she is still in the hospital and I think Jimmy is glad of that. He said she has a big smile now and says that they will move forward and not look back. When she is able he has promised her to go to Townsend and smell that mountain air! It has sure been a long haul for them but they have kept their faith, please continue to pray for her healing! Thank so much to all you ccpa members who have kept them in your prayers.

Dear Friends and Family,

We thank you for your continued prayers and support for Gary.  On Friday Gary recieved a letter of his approval for Social Security Disability Benefits!  We praise God for his provisions! 

Gary has 6 more radiation treatments, then a wait for a month for the radiation to stop working, then testing.  As I understand it, the testing will be done to see if this route of treatment is affective and it will be used to determine his next course of treatments.  Since his treatments began after the cancer was so advanced the Doctors are telling him this will be a long hard battle.  He continues to have more pain in his hip and is being cautioned to be careful as it would break easily. 

We will celebrate Gary's birthday tomorrow with much thankfulness for the blessing he is in our lives.
